Most of the cooler players in the Kiva Cup plan to travel to Fort Morgan on the Wednesday prior to Cup play beginning Thursday. Team Europe plans to drive down Thursday morning prior to play beginning that afternoon. They are real golfermen, and don't worry about riding in a cramped car for four and one-half hours and then playing golf.
"We can handle it", said Captain Burnett, "besides we are family men and family comes first. Personally, I'd rather spend time with my children - playing hide-n-go seek, singing songs, and reading books to them and whatnot - than to go to Kiva early and just sit at the Beach Hut Cafe."
And with two weeks left, how is Team USA preparing? We asked Captain Jim for some insight.
"Fact of business, we're focusing on one Robert J. Petrino this week, and next week we're going to prepare for Richard K. Brooks. I don't think that I have to tell you how EXPLOSIVE a Petrino offense can be. His receivers are faster than Coach Lowder's jet, and they can flat out move the ball. Ryan Mallette can throw a football 170 miles an hour, I heard, so there's that. Other than that, we're just watching it rain."

As has become quite the tradition, President Barack Obama welcomed the captains to the Oval Office last week. After exchanging pleasantries, Mr. President gave the captains a piece of advice. "What would make the Kiva Cup even better would be if the two teams COMBINED in to ONE GIANT team! That way, you'd all be ONE."
Details were a sketchy on who the giant team would actually play.
"Everybody wins, I guess", said Captain Burnett.

Obama is a Communist. He is ruining this country.
Evenso, the Kiva Cup is about unity and respect. Your comment is unappreciated here, sister.
I hate Obama. This country needs somebody like Brian running it. His kindness would spread throughout the world like swine flu and it would be a great and peaceful world. Girls don't even think about it. He is all mine.
