Captain Brian J.W. Burnett has announced that 2012 Alabama State Amateur champ Andy McRae has rejoined Team Europe after a 1 year absence. Neal "Boog" Ramey is out, after his fine debut in the 2012 Cup. Burnett thanked Ramey for his service but didn't mince words, "Listen, Boog is a great guy, but he lost a match that Jim played in. We can't have that on Team Europe. Andy is a +2 and one of the finest golfers I know. I really don't see him losing a point this year."
Team USA has yet to announce their new members for 2013, due to wedding rehearsals, annual physicals and/or scheduled elk hunting trips.

Sorry, I was looking for Royal Cup.
In other apparently less noteworthy news, my beloved son Hawk is back this year as well.
Who is Hawk?
Please please please put me on Brick.
Brick don't want none of THE ZMW!
Who is getting the gift cards this year?
Every day is a new challenge, as well as an opportunity. Every match of golf presents the same unique challenges and opportunities. Carpe Diem!
I've got that $44.26 I owe Chris from the 2008 Fake Cup, as well as the $575 in bets I lost to Jim in the first 5 Cups. I'm just going to send it to Kiva Dunes in care of BG in the Pro Shop, if that's ok. Have a great Cup guys. I hope Jammy plays well.
Team USA reminds me of the Bama secondary. All 5 star hype and no results.
Can't wait you guys.
