My goodness me how did Captain Burnett manage to "get" Captain Hartsell so thoroughly in the Day One games? This Kiva Cup is over before it has even started, by Jove. I must say I get a thorough chuckle when I see Master Evans playing off of 7.

How will JRod handle playing with Jim, who has a tendency to hold on to a missed putt or an act of slight committed by the Euros? Luckily they are playing two gentlemen of the game in Andy Dufresne and The Doctor. JRod will only have to help Jim battle the demons within. You only have to play the hole once, Jim. Remember, your most important shot is your next one.

I'm pulling for Chris and Meelum, but to say they're underdogs is like saying this Bama-LSU game is a game of note - a tremendous understatement. You know the world is thinking, "we better catch some of that match on the front 9, because it may be over after 10." Brick/Luke, get ready for four rounds of that pairing, USA. STRONG.

Bobby, you gotta beat Boogie. That's all there is to it, son. Hawk and Skiba are two heavy weights pounding away on one another. You, rookie, are the key to that match. So goes Bobby, so goes that match. Battle.

Sam/Zac versing Brian/Fake Hawk. The swing match of day 1. Sam and Zac will have to play two strokes better than their home course. Are they man enough to do that? Are they man enough to battle on every shot - blocking out the "that's good if it'll measure" and "I press ALL bets" comments? Are you mentally strong enough to remember that, above all else, this is golf? It's not a craps table, it's not a 'yo momma' joke contest, it's not a pi$$ing match, it is a game of golf. You play golf. You let them worry about coming up with one liners and zingers. You let them worry about finding ways to GET you. You let them do the math in their heads to determine how much money is riding on this hole. You, YOU!, play golf. If you do that, everything else will take care of itself.

Let's go be champions.

I have to say, I will miss James Erwin. He saw through Brian's mind games better than anybody ever did. All of that BS never bothered him. I hope to see you in Tuscaloser tomorrow James L, I really do.

Glad Jammy is gone. Don't like him revealing my ways to others. He may be getting a Bama Binos type visit if he does not keep his gdi mouth shut.
