The Kiva Cup is a week away. @kivacup offers this handy guide to the tee shot on #18.
Meelum finished his Cup preparation in beautiful, but cold, Ontario, Canada at Monterra GC.
Meelum played the white tees due to the bitter cold.
Douglas (son of The Doctor) gave a playing lesson to Chaplain, Captain and The Doctor at Green Valley CC, aka Hoover. On the Par 5 Sixth Hole he inspired the European stalwarts with an eagle, canning a 9 iron on his 3rd shot from the fairway. In addition, he made birdie on the 180 yard 17th Hole. Feeling guilty, he 3 putted #18 from 12 feet to push Captain Burnett’s $25 wager. Burnett was seen dancing in the parking lot a few minutes later.

Green Valley rich kids are punks. My dad could kick Douglas's dad's ass.
Meelum, he enjoys to travel from time to time.
I must acknowledge the blatant breach of traditional protocol committed by offering a "news and notes" post after the annual release of Cup Handicaps post. Posts following the Cup Caps release are generally devoted to the upcoming Cup event itself, not highlighting worldly travels, some poor little boy 3 putting the 18th, or Brian's celebratory jig as said boy cried. I find the current posting to be, at best, questionable form.
