In an odd twist in this ongoing saga, a Team USA press conference was to be held at 9:00AM this morning in which it was believed that Jammy would formally announce that he was stepping down from Team USA. After the room was filled with print and television media from across the globe, the press conference was cancelled without explanation. What this means to the Kiva Cup is any one's guess.
"Jammy's a media W#ORE! Always has been. He's selfish and inconsiderate. Always gotta be about him. I cancelled a trip to Elmwood Cemetery to be here today!" said one angry radio personality upon hearing of the abrupt cancellation.
It is rumored that the captain of Team Europe, Brian Burnett, worked well in to the night oscillating between making threats of ending the event if Jammy didn't play and working on a mercy mission to stabilize a habitually battered Team USA.
Reached at his home last night, Team USA captain Jim Hartsell said, "We gave Kentucky ALL THEY WANTED, but what I'm focused on right now is the unveiling of Coach Nicolas J. Saban's statue outside of Bryant-Denny Stadium on April 17th. I'm not worried about Team USA at this particular moment."
More information as it becomes available.

It has now been 133 days, 4 hours and 7 minutes since Team Europe held the Kiva Cup.
Knowing my husband he was concentrating on a mercy mission. The name "Brian" is Hebrew for man of mercy or man of kindness depending on whether you use the first or third century translation.
Yes, Brian reminds me a lot of Coach Sanjay Gupta with the mercy missions and whatnot.
You boys just don't know him. He told me about leading a canned food drive while down for the Kiva Cup. I am glad you boys take some time out to help others while you are down there.
