Team USA and friends look on as Skiba gets the round under way.
Lesson from a pro.
Zac blasting away on 10.
A perfect strike.
Hole in one on #7, also known as a "net zero"
5 of the 8 current Team USA members met at Jerry Pate's beautiful Limestone Springs on Saturday, May 21 for a friendly game. They were joined by Uncle Charles, Uncle Lee and Jordan Hartsell. New Team USA member Bobby Huffman (Vikings) made his first appearance with the team.
The main match featured the 2 uncles, Jordan and Capt. Jim Hartsell against Skiba/Chief/17/Bobby. In a spirited contest, Team Hartsell was triumphant with a 3 and 2 victory. The highlight of the day was an ace by 11 year old Jordan Hartsell on the famous Par 3 7th. The feat was witnessed by the opposing team as they stood close by on the 8th tee.
In a secondary match, Skiba/Chief defeated Zac17/Bobby 3 and 2. Zac did not care for this outcome. Fact of business, he did not like it at all.
Scores:
Uncle Charles - 77
Bobby Huffman - 81
Uncle Lee - 82
Mark Skiba - 83

In the grill afterwards, the future of the Kiva Cup was discussed. All present were anxious to confirm the date, given the apparent Kiva Dunes course condition issues of the November 10-12 time frame. Although having just quit golf minutes earlier, Captain Hartsell vowed to resolve the crisis with Captain Burnett in the upcoming week.

Who's the cat in the hat?
Driver off of 10? I need to teach 17 a thing or 2 about course management.
I am advising Zac to stop playing Chris in golf.
Congrats to Jordan on his Hole in One. He only beat me by 5 shots on that hole. I quit.
