2011 Moore's Mill Family Cup

Utter shock all around as Chief's 80 footer falls to win the 1st Family Cup. (Note: Meels on far right rushing to tackle Chief)
As darkness falls in Lee Co., Chief (Emeritus) sizes up his 80 footer on 18 to win the Cup outright.
@EuropeanCaptain gets the match to 18. Battling to the death...as always.
A typical view of the rough at Moore's Mill. You need more ProV1x's??....Bridgestone is the exact same ball.
Fake Hawk approaches 17, with the Cup in the balance.
Coming down to the wire.

Sorry Day/Blalock...the USA Captain holed out for eagle on 6 with DRIVER / lob wedge. #no5iron
Skiba, right in the Mayor's Office, on the ultra tight 6th.
on #16, True Hawk looks on...on his way to a little 71.
Meels takes the 5 iron on #4...for safety.
Foley!? Can we bounce around a few concepts???
I need consideration please.
No details are missed in the many clubhouses at The Mill. #outdoorfireplace
The Chaplain, aka Fake Hawk, sizes up the practice green.
Skiba and Meels paired with J-Duff???

On a burning hot day in scenic Lee County, 8 members of the Kiva Cup met at beautiful Moore's Mill GC to compete in a 36 hole match of golf. They were welcomed by new Moore's Mill GC members, Mark J. Skiba and Meelum.

The final results:

Team Luper - 3.5 pts
Team Trooper - 2.5 pts

Chief (Emeritus) birdied 18 to defeat @EuropeanCaptain 2UP and clinch the cup.

From an individual standpoint, True Kevin Hawk shot 71-73 and was virtually unbeatable. Face him at this time? Not wise.

Not sure what was more shocking - the Chief's bomb on the final hole or the unprovoked Bird I received from Hawk in the middle of 12 fairway.

Mr. Castle:

In my humble opinion, @EuropeanCaptain finding his ball on 18 was quite remarkable. By Jove, that gentleman is a wonder.

Its not hard to find a ball if you know where to look.

I'm glad you bunch of goons have left my course.

Duffy! Glad to see you didn't choke on all that vomit.

Ooooooooh Bradley you are too good to play in the Wyndham now since you won the PGA. Why don't you go down to Isleworth and hang out with Eldrick? I can't believe I got paired with that loser Ben Curtis.Damn.

I know who is going to win the Kiva Cup this Christmas. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you. By the way, I am the Sports Analyst for USA Today not an oddsmaker.
