The 18th at the Country Club of East Birmingham

@thechiefs had a little decision to make on #9.

A right to left drive is essential on the tough 3rd.

The famous downhill 1st at Grayson Valley CC.

New Team USA member Samuel L. ""Sam" Thompson tees off at The Home of the Cup on his way to a 77 on the Front 18.
A beautiful August morning in the Mountain Lakes Region of Alabama.
20 mph winds (with gust to 30) greeted the AJGO field.
Nice strike on #12 at Goose Pond(New)
Well played gentlemen.
Grayson Valley CC - The Country Club East
@thechiefs (Chief Emeritus) ventured East to the home course of the legendary KC(Great) and JROD Jackson for a friendly match on Friday with Little Pie, Peanut, HammerHead and Chicken. Scores were not known at press time.
Kiva Dunes GC
@ZMWard, Sammy Thompson and Bobby Huffman "Vikings" made the long drive down I-65 for 36 holes of golfing at the legendary Home of the Kiva Cup. Friendly Death Matches were the order of the day.
@ZMWard commenting after the Back 18: "This is just a tough course of golf. It tests all aspects of the game. The wind was brutal today. The greens were slow, but I expect them to be at least 11 on the stimpmeter when we tee off for the Cup on Boxing Day in December. The highlight for me was the Filet Mignon and Swordfish at Cobalt on Saturday night. It was disappointing that The Beach Club was closed for a private party for Beyonce' and Jay-Z, but you just can't go wrong at 'Balt."
Individual Results:
Samuel L. "Sam" Thompson - 77 -75 - 152
Bobby Huffman - 89-79 - 168
@ZMWard - 98-90 - 188
Goose Pond (New) AJGO event
@KivaCup made it's first visit to the New Course (Plantation) at Goose Pond since its opening 15 years ago. On a very windy, but pleasant, day, @JordanHartsell led the field in pars. Unfortunately, 2 triple bogeys late in the round ended his hopes of taking home the trophy:

Jordan Hartsell puts the club in a great position at the top. The rest of you Yahoos could learn something from him.
17, post those scores!
It was good seeing you Chief!
It sure was good to see the old Chieftain out here at East. We always welcome good, solid Tarrant City folk up in here. By the way, I hold the course record at The Wootlands.
Hank
I agree with you. @JordanHartsell is in an excellent position at the top of his backswing. If I could get Eldrick "Tiger" Woods in that same position, he'd win the next 5 majors and pass Jack Nicklaus with relative ease. Lets get together and kick around some ideas soon.
Sean
Foley, you are a phaggot. Don't talk to me again.
Gentlemen:
You are indication of what is wrong with this great game of golf. It makes me very sad to observe. Do you think Bob Jones argued with Walter Hagen about club position? Sad, Sad, Sad. I'm glad I cast my lot with Phil and Scott Adams.
All the best,
Butch
Butch, you are gay too.
I find the comments on this site to be most remarkable. Nice site of golf though. Cheers.
Chris,
What time do we play Sean and Brian at Green Valley. Hopefully I won't have to pay full price since I had a legacy membership for 2 weeks. I hope they have crab claws.
How many shoes does a brother got a buy to get an invite to the Hoover Country Club?
When are y'all boys coming on back down to Moores Mill GC? We just got in a new shipment of Bridgestone golfing balls.
Lord, I cant believe the season is finally here. I got to run, Coach Jake is calling on my cell. War Eagle!
Who pissed Censorship off this time???
Glory be to god. May Allah bless your entire family.

Trent Richardson will be serving cake - a $2,500 dollar service charge will apply.
At least Chris and Zac did not get beat as bad as I did to Tiger. 8 & 7 is nothing to be ashamed of.
I sure hope you were playing with a member at The Country Club. Regardless post that score.
